Laurent Barrera is a former geological engineer and professional in geology.
And his wife, Emmanuel Dupéré, is a Canadian woman who studied viticulture and brewing in Provence and wine commerce in Bordeaux.
Originally a wine lover, Emmanuel and Laurent met in Canada and decided to make the most delicious red wine in Provence.
After that, he studied winemaking in Provence and turned to a winemaker, and in 1997, "Dupéré Barrera" was born.
The symbolic phrase of Dupéré Barrera's winemaking is the seemingly catchy phrase "to make wine by taking over the barrel from DRC", but the one that takes over the barrel from DRC is the "pure fruit taste" of Dupéré Barrera. It is nothing but an extraordinary commitment to express.
Dupéré Barrera places the utmost importance on expressing the taste of grapes straight into wine in winemaking.

In the "Nowat manufacturing method"
wine making that does not use electricity, it was named [No = not used, Wat = electricity] because it is made according to the old tradition without using any electric machinery.
The biggest merit of this method is that you can get a satisfactory concentration while obtaining gentle tannins without over-extracting.
